A Canton man has been arrested in connection to a Saturday evening shooting in Goodyear Heights that left four people injured, including a 4-year-old child.

Delrico Carmona, 25, was arrested at his residence Sunday by members of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force, according to Akron police. He was charged with four counts of felonious assault.

Officers originally responded to reports of a shooting in the 800 block of Morningview Avenue at about 7:41 p.m. Saturday, when four victims, including the child, were discovered. The three adult victims were between the ages of 33-52 years old.

Three of the shooting victims had non-life-threatening injuries while the 33-year-old woman remains hospitalized in critical condition, police said Monday.
