    NFL's Hall of Fame ceremony 2024: Channel, time, TV schedule to watch Dwight Freeney, Devin Hester, others get inducted

    The Pro Football Hall of Fame enshrinement ceremony returns to Canton, Ohio, in 2024 with a class to remember.

    Following the Bears’ 21-17 win against the Texans on Thursday night, NFL fans will be treated to weekend festivities, including watching some of the best former NFL players secure their spot amongst football immortality.

    The Pro Football Hall of Fame dates back to September 1963 and has been a yearly staple of the sporting calendar ever since. Football fans of all generations either travel to Canton or make an in-state road trip to see the inductees have their day in the gold jacket. Notable names to have entered the Hall include Dick Vermeil, Walter Payton, John Elway, Dan Marino, Lawrence Taylor, and a plethora of others throughout the decades-long history of the event.

    Seven former players will earn the newest class spotlight in Canton, including three who played significant roles in shaping the legacy of the Bears franchise throughout different NFL eras.

    The Hall of Fame marks a symbol of the past and a lead-in into the sport’s future, making it a small part of a more extensive NFL calendar before the regular season begins in a month.

    When is the NFL's Hall of Fame ceremony for 2024?

    • Date: Saturday, Aug. 3
    • Time: Noon ET

    Continuing long-standing traditions, the ceremony will be held on Saturday, Aug. 3, the first Saturday of the month, beginning at noon ET.

    What channel is the Hall of Fame ceremony?

    • TV channels: NFL Network, ESPN
    • Live stream: Fubo

    As is routine, the Hall of Fame ceremony will air simultaneously on NFL Network and ESPN. According to a July 18 release from the Hall, Chris Berman, a longtime ESPN personality, will oversee the festivities as the emcee and master of ceremonies.
