Nine Mile Road head-on collision hospitalizes 3 people in Escambia County
Multiple Escambia County Fire Rescue units responded to the intersection of Beulah and West Nine Mile road Wednesday morning after two vehicle hit each other head-on. Around 3:07 a.m., two vehicles met in a head-on collision that trapped an individual. However, ECFR says, "Within 13 minutes, the patient was freed."

A judge levied a 50-year-prison sentence Tuesday upon the Pensacola man who shot and killed a local activist over a social media feud. Charles Tyree Moore III, 37, was sentenced to a half century in a Florida prison after he was convicted of second-degree murder for shooting Durrell Dupree Palmer on May 23, 2022, in a Circle K parking lot in Cantonment.

PENSACOLA, Florida — A man was arrested after fleeing a crash and being found with 200 grams of methamphetamine, according to the Escambia County Sheriff's Office. On July 15, ECSO Deputy Glass witnessed a Dodge Durango driving recklessly before it collided with another vehicle at Beverly Parkway and North Palafox Street. The driver, 24-year-old Tremaine Presley, of Pensacola, Florida, fled the scene on foot but was quickly apprehended by Deputy Glass.

"While traveling southbound on US 41 in Kentucky, a tag alert was issued to law enforcement in the area matching the description of Hendrickson’s boyfriend’s vehicle (she is known to frequent use or be in)," FHP tells WEAR News.
