AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - With high temperatures comes higher risk of heat-related illnesses in dogs, with heat stroke being the most common. “We recommend don’t take them outside unless it’s under 75. You know unless it’s very cloudy or you’re comfortable outside and watching them and they’re comfortable outside, but we don’t want them outside in this 90 up degrees,” said Cadillac Vet Clinic Tech Ashlyn Tompkins.
