    Cape Girardeau police seek missing elderly woman

    CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – The Cape Girardeau Police Department is searching for an elderly woman who went missing on July 30. Rose Mary Weaver, 81, was last seen around 11:45 a.m. on Broadway Street.

    Weaver is a white female, approximately 5’5″ tall, with brown eyes and a light complexion. Her clothing at the time she went missing is unknown. Weaver suffers from depression and has made suicidal statements to family members.

    She was last seen in downtown Cape Girardeau near the intersection of Broadway and North Main Street.

    Anyone who sees the missing person or anyone with any information, should immediately dial 911 to contact the nearest law enforcement agency or call the Cape Girardeau Police Department at (573) 335-6621.
