    Severe Weather Update:

The Storm Prediction Center has issued a "1-out-of-5" risk for severe storms late Tuesday into Wednesday morning due to the remnants of Tropical Storm Beryl. This includes a low risk of isolated, weak tornadoes and instances of straight-line wind, particularly in southwestern Ohio.

    Tuesday:

    • Daytime: Mostly cloudy and warm, with isolated showers expected later in the day. High of 89°F.
    • Night: Rain likely, with some thunderstorms, breezy conditions. Low of 72°F.

    Wednesday:

    • Rain is likely, with some thunderstorms and gusty winds at times. High of 81°F.

    Thursday:

    • There is a chance of a stray pop-up shower or thunderstorm. High of 85°F.

    Friday:

    • Mostly sunny with a high of 90°F.

Central Ohio has experienced a warm start to the week, with temperatures 4-6 degrees above normal. Humidity levels will rise as clouds fill the sky overnight, with lows remaining in the lower 70s. Tuesday will continue to be warm and muggy, with highs reaching the upper 80s. Moisture from the remnants of Hurricane Beryl will begin to affect the southwest part of the state by evening.

Tuesday night into Wednesday will see better chances for rain and thunderstorms, with breezy conditions and pockets of heavy rain expected. The system will bring gusty winds on Wednesday, with a slight risk of an isolated, weak tornado. Highs will reach the lower 80s with high humidity.

Thursday will see the system exit, leaving behind a chance of isolated showers with highs near the mid-80s. By Friday, expect clearer skies and temperatures near 90°F
