Vallejo man pleads guilty to assaulting federal officers with deadly weapon
SACRAMENTO, California — Sean Thomas Delapp, 37, of Vallejo, pleaded guilty to assaulting federal officers with a deadly weapon, U.S. Attorney Phillip A. Talbert announced. According to court documents, Delapp assaulted two FBI special agents by pursuing them with his car, pulling up alongside them, and aiming a firearm at them through the window, making a recoil motion with the firearm. A subsequent search warrant at his residence resulted in the discovery of a Glock 29 firearm, ammunition, and various firearm parts. Delapp is prohibited from possessing firearms or ammunition because he was previously convicted of a felony evasion offense.
