Days of Our Lives: Abigail Shocking Return? DNA Drama and the Mystery Woman

Days of Our Lives hints that Salem is in for a major shock as Chad, Jack, and the mystery woman make their way back to town. The burning question: Is this woman truly Abigail? After suffering severe injuries, amnesia, and facial reconstructive surgery, she no longer resembles the Abigail everyone remembers. But with clues like Abby’s bracelet and Clyde’s involvement, Chad is holding out hope. As DNA tests loom, let’s delve into what’s next in this twisted tale.

DNA Test Results

That after the mystery woman and Chad and Jack take a plane to Salem, they will attempt to determine whether or not she is, in fact, Abigail. This mysterious woman had severe injuries two years ago and woke up with amnesia. She underwent facial reconstructive surgeries and no longer resembled the Abigail her loved ones knew, so the timing was perfect.

Given that Clyde had his hands all over this scenario and that she was in possession of Abby's bracelet, Chad might become more and more convinced that this woman is Abigail. In an effort to evoke fond memories for the mystery woman, Chad may show her an album of pictures or share anecdotes about their shared past.

Will the Mystery Woman Be Proven as Abigail?

Chad will remain optimistic while he waits for the results of the DNA test, even though none of that will likely sound familiar. In the following section of the narrative, Jack's sample and the mystery woman's sample will be compared through testing. The identity of the mystery woman will be revealed on August 14 following the receipt of the DNA results.

That suggests that Jack and this woman are a good fit and validates their father-daughter relationship. Negative results, after all, would provide no evidence whatsoever of the woman's identity. That would effectively end the speculation that she is Abigail and leave Days wondering just a little bit about this woman. And we also know that on August 16, Jennifer will return to Salem with all her might.

It appears that Jack will obtain the necessary confirmation from Abigail and call for her, as he preferred not to update Jennifer until he was positive. All indications suggest that the mystery woman is actually Abigail, as demonstrated by the DNA results; however, DOOL may be putting itself in peril here.

Because Chad, Jack, and Jennifer all seem to adore Abigail, there is a chance that the mysterious woman will con them in order to gain access to the DiMera fortune. Perhaps the enigmatic woman will decide that this life seems rather pleasant and ensure that the results are manipulated! On the other hand, maybe Days will accept that this Abigail is authentic.
