Taylor Hayes is back in Los Angeles and is planning to stay. While Brooke Logan is concerned about her rival being back, it seems Taylor's return is centered more around her kids.

Taylor's main focus is spending time with her daughter Steffy Forrester. After being gone for months, the mother and daughter shared a heartwarming reunion. But their reunion has been plauged by drama with Steffy's kidnapping.

And based on The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers more trouble to ruin the family reunion.

Taylor Is Keeping A Secret From Her Children

When it was revealed Taylor was the mystery woman spying on Brooke and Ridge Forrester in Monte Carlo, it didn't come as much as a surprise. But fans were curious why Taylor was in Monte Carlo to begin with.

In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, Rebecca Budig revealed her character was there for an appointment. Although the actress didn't go into much detail, it's sparked speculation on what type of appointment Taylor had.

One theory is that it could've been a doctor's appointment. Taylor's been a bit emotional, during her phone call with Steffy she was teary-eyed as she said she was coming home.

Then in an upcoming preview for this week's The Bold and the Beautiful, Taylor and Ridge are discussing Steffy being gone. Taylor says, "I just want her here, to make up for lost time."

Taylor is acting like any concerned mother would, but her words along with her recent trip to Monte Carlo seems to hint she's keeping a secret. That secret could be that she has a medical crisis.

Taylor's Health Issues Bring Tridge Family Back Together

Taylor has a reputation of being a strong woman. So if she's facing a health crisis she's determined to fight it. But she's also keeping her children in the dark about it.

Steffy and Thomas Forrester have their own lives and problems; she doesn't want to burden them. But eventually she knows they need to know the truth.

When Steffy and Thomas learn of their mother's condition, they'll be devastated. Thomas will return from Paris to help his mother and spend time with her. Meanwhile, Steffy's already an emotional wreck with her recent problems at work and home. Taylor's illness will send her over the edge.

As for Ridge, he'll be upset upon learning the news about Taylor. Although Brooke is his focus, he'll switch his attention to Taylor, Steffy, and Thomas; who need him more than ever. Steffy and Thomas might not be so receptive of their dad's comfort. He caused their mother so much pain and always abandoned them in favor of Brooke.

Taylor is going through a challenging time, the last thing she needs is Ridge causing more turmoil. As much as Steffy and Thomas love their dad, he needs to give their mom her space.

But that's easier said than done.

Taylor's situation will have Ridge reminiscing about their life together. He'll realize he loves her and always will, and was a fool to give up their family. Yet, his realization might be too late.
