Wall Lake reopens to boating with no-wake zone
WALL LAKE, S.D. (KELO) — Wall Lake is open to boating with a no-wake zone, according to an announcement by the South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks (GFP) on Tuesday. GFP reminds boaters to be cautious for debris floating below the surface of the water and to respect homeowners by following the no-wake zone.
Grand Junction Fire and Rescue to Host Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser Saturday
A community volunteer fire department in Greene County will be hosting its annual fundraiser meal, following the 4th of July holiday. The Grand Junction Fire and Rescue Departments will be having their Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser on Saturday from 7-10am at the Grand Junction Community Center. The menu includes all you can eat pancakes, along with sausage, scrambled eggs, orange juice, milk and coffee for $5 for adults, $3 for children five to 12 and kids under five years old can eat for free.
