Kristen Golightly: Departure from UWG to University of Tennessee Sparks Search for New Women’s Golf Coach
University of West Georgia's head women's golf coach, Kristen Golightly, is leaving to take an assistant coaching position at the University of Tennessee, announced by Director of Athletics Jason Carmichael. Golightly, who initially joined UWG as an assistant coach in 2018, has led the women's golf program for the last two seasons. During her tenure, the team achieved significant success with multiple All-Gulf South Conference and All-American selections, as well as a Gulf South Conference Championship in 2021.
