TAMPA, Florida — A Tampa Police Department officer has been placed on administrative leave following an arrest for battery domestic violence. Cornelius Young, age not provided, of Tampa, Florida, was arrested in an off-duty incident at 729 Cortaro Drive in Sun City on July 17, 2024, following a reported verbal argument with an adult female victim known to him that turned physical.
