Former Tampa Bay Bucs center Ryan Jensen puts his Davis Islands house on the market
After 11 seasons in the NFL, legendary Tampa Bay Buccaneers center Ryan Jensen hung up his cleats last February, and now he's looking to sell his Tampa house. Located on Davis Islands, the home was purchased by Jensen for $1,525,000 in April of 2018, less than a month after he signed a four-year, $42 million contract with the Buccaneers.

FHP: 73-year-old man riding scooter dead after being hit by car in Hillsborough County
HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. — A 73-year-old man from Tampa is dead after he was hit by a car while riding a scooter, Florida Highway Patrol troopers said in a news release. The incident occurred around 9 p.m. Thursday, FHP said. The 46-year-old driver of a Hyundai Elantra was reportedly traveling southbound on Florida Avenue while the victim was riding just north of 122nd Avenue.

Residential Rents Post 11th Consecutive Monthly Decline
Rents for residential units fell again in June, with especially large declines in the South, where there’s been an influx of new rental units, Realtor.com said Thursday. The median asking rent for 0-2 bedroom units fell -0.4% ($7) from last June to $1,743, marking the 11th consecutive month of declines and -0.6% ($11) below its August 2022 peak.
