    Washington County man arrested facing drug charges

    WASHINGTON COUNTY, Fla. ( WMBB ) – On Monday night, a Caryville man was arrested near the area of State Road 90 and Wilcox Rd. in Washington County.

    Washington County Sheriff’s Office observed 28-year-old, Corey Shae Wilson riding a bike without proper illumination. After contact was made with Wilson, he became nervous and confrontational with officers, WCSO said.

    A Bonifay Police Department K-9 was deployed and gave a positive alert to narcotics. A subsequent search resulted in officers finding illegal items and methamphetamine.

    Wilson was arrested and booked into the Washington County Jail on charges of resisting an officer without violence, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and introduction of contraband into a detention facility.
