    Fern’s Diner announces closure after two-year run

    (CASCADE, Colo.) — A local all-vegan diner will be closing its doors in August after serving Cascade and surrounding communities for two years.

    Fern’s Diner + Drinkery, located at 4645 Fountain Avenue in Cascade, announced on Thursday, July 25 they will be closing their doors on Sunday, Aug. 11. The post on Facebook and Instagram cited ‘location’ as the downfall of the restaurant.

    “We have tried everything we could to get enough business to make it a success,” said the post on Facebook. “With 5 stars across the board, we can only blame location.”

    The diner invited the community to come enjoy its creations one last time and “soak up” the mountain vibes on the patio before the closure in August.

    According to the diner, the property and the restaurant will be for sale.
