One of the first players that EerSports noticed among the crowd of roughly one hundred participants at WVU's final one-day camp of the summer was Woodland Hills (PA) athlete Scoop Smith. The 2026 prospect put up a 36" vertical jump and a 4.44 40-yard dash during testing, and then followed that by impressing in position drills and dominating in one-on-ones. Back then, football preparation was taking a backseat to the pending basketball coaching search. This time around, fall camp will be in the spotlight of the WVU sports world.
