The Mendocino County Democratic Central Committee’s fundraiser Democracy: How Sweet It Is! is scheduled for this weekend on the coast. The following information was submitted by organizers: “Come celebrate democracy with sweet pairings of chocolate and desserts with local specialty coffee and local wines! Enjoy featured Thanksgiving Coffees and select wines from Pacific Star, Goldeneye, Bee Hunter & Philo Ridge Wineries on Saturday, July 27 from 3 to 6 p.m. at Thanksgiving Coffee, 19100 S.
