UMD alumni Curtis Cox has been named a 2024 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team nominee. Cox received his nomination for a bone marrow donation. In the spring of 2023, Cox participated in UMD’s Be the Match program, where he discovered he had matched with a two-year-old boy.
