Update: Calvin Fire Contained At 10 Acres

Firefighters are battling a brush fire that erupted in the Castaic area.

Update: L.A. County Fire Department crews have contained the Calvin Fire at 10 acres, according to Captain Grant Grunbaum.

No structures have been affected or are in danger.

Original: The brush fire , named the Calvin Fire, was reported at about 10:45 a.m. Saturday near Borton Street in Val Verde.

Initial reports from the Los Angeles County Fire Department indicated that the blaze was approximately four acres with minimal winds.
