Small Overnight Brush Fire In Castaic Quickly Extinguished

A small brush fire in Castaic was quickly extinguished Tuesday morning.

Around 2:50 a.m. Tuesday, firefighters received reports of a brush fire in the 33100 block of Lake Hughes Road near Lake Hills Community Church in Castaic.

“It was a 100 by 150 foot fire,” said Luis Garcia, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

The fire was out within 30 minutes, according to officials.

No structures were damaged, and no injuries were reported.
