Two Men Hospitalized in Separate Shootings on San Antonio's West and South Sides
Violence has once again shaken the streets of San Antonio, with shootings on both the West and South sides of the city hospitalizing two men. Early this morning, in the 1200 block of Longmont, a man in his twenties was shot in the arm. SUV crashes into Westside San Antonio home, SAPD says
San Antonio Police are currently investigating the cause of a crash of a motor vehicle into a home in the city’s West Side. The San Antonio Police Department at the scene of a crash reported at about 3:09 a.m. on Sunday, July 21, on the 1400 block of Benrus Drive said officials are investigating what caused an SUV to slam into the home. The SAPD said luckily, those inside the home at the time of the crash were able to make it out of the home safely and without the injury. The driver of the SUV did remain on the scene after the crash. Officials said it is unclear at this time if the driver of the SUV will face any charges in the crash, and there were no injuries to report at the scene. Officials said San Antonio Fire Department officials were able to secure the integrity of the home and cover the hole made by the vehicle. This is a developing story. SAN ANTONIO - A local woman reported being assaulted by an unknown person at the Palladium movie theater, according to a police report. According to a police incident report, on July 15, the victim told police she was sitting alone in the theater when an unknown person, who had also been alone in the back row, moved to the row directly behind her. The victim stated that the unknown person then pulled her hair back and struck her on the head several times before fleeing the scene through the emergency exit.
