Buddy Benches encourage belonging
Over the past year, Castle Pines elementary schools have added buddy benches to promote inclusion and friendship. These benches help students connect, make new friends, and ensure no one feels alone during recess. It is a great effort to make sure everyone is included.
Future Jag dancers take the floor
The award-winning Rock Canyon High School (RCHS) Dance Team (also called Poms) hosted its summer camp for interested dancers, grades kindergarten through 8th grade. The two-day camp hosted 90 junior jags (elementary students) and future Jags (middle school students). The campers were introduced to pom techniques and dance skills and then performed choreographed routines at the RCHS boys’ youth basketball game.
