Pennsylvania man loses $90,000 over one year in gift card scam
LONGSWAMP TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WHTM)– Pennsylvania State Police say a man fell victim to a gift card scam for a year, losing thousands of dollars. State Police in Reading say they were investigating a theft by deception when an Alburtis man in his 70s reported a possible scam on July 1. Troopers say the man reported losing approximately $90,000 in Apple gift cards over the course of a year.
Edwardsville man charged with pushing cop down stairs
An Edwardsville man is jailed without bail after punching an officer in the face and pushing her down a flight of stairs on Monday afternoon, police said. Joshua Hall, 42, of 557 Garfield St., is facing aggravated assault charges following a disturbance reported at his home shortly after 3 p.m. Monday.

Geisinger Medical Center road project moves to next phase
DANVILLE, Pa. – Geisinger Medical Center will soon move to the next phase of its road relocation project on Medical Center Drive in front of the hospital.
