No matter where you live, there are plenty of cats looking for a place to call home, but these cats here, these are Kansas City cats. Everybody knows that Kansas City cats are the best cats in the world. Right? Regardless, all are available to adopt from area shelters--go and get them while you can.

    Fluff and Emily

Let's start this party right with a bonded pair, because everybody knows that two cats are better than one. Fluff and Emily came into Great Plains SPCA together, and they love each other so much that they're determined to leave together too. They have been timid at the shelter, but they'll come out of their shell eventually. Until they do, you can rest assured that they'll be happy enjoying each other's company until they learn to enjoy yours too. Here's a short video of them being awfully cute:

So go ahead and get the Fluff over to Great Plains SPCA and adopt these two today. You can learn more about them here or here.

    Linx

Next up, from the Friends of Parkville Animal Shelter (FOPAS) is Linx, an adorable female tuxedo cat who got her name from the Links Apartment complex where she was found after having been abandoned. It is heinous to move away and leave your cats behind to fend for themselves, but it happens all too often. The silver lining is that eventually Linx will find a new home that has more love and devotion than her old home ever did. Maybe that home is yours?

Linx is a social girl with a lot of love to give, and she still likes people for whatever reason. FOPAS doesn't know her history with other animals, so if you have other pets, a slow introduction is suggested (and probably a good idea anyway). If you're interested in Linx, you can fill out a pre-adoption application here. There is no obligation in doing so.

    Hayley

Next up is Hayley, an adorable kitten from The Animal Rescue Alliance. You might remember Bia from a post a couple of weeks ago. Hayley is Bia's daughter. Bia is still available too if you'd like a mother and daughter pair.

Her siblings are still available too if you want an entire litter. It would be great if you were able to pick a pair of cuties to take home with you. They're all sweet and playful, enjoying swatting at shoestrings and climbing on legs. Bia, the mom, is probably past that stage though if you prefer calm over chaos. You can learn more about Hayley here, and if you're interested, please do inquire about keeping at least some of the family together.

    Harper Finkle

Next up, from Meowy Matchmakers, is a beautiful tortie named Harper Finkle. I looked it up and "Harper Finkle" is a character on an older show called Wizards of Waverly Place. Sounds like someone at Meowy Matchmakers has a Disney+ subscription.

The star of the show is Harper, an adorable tortie who may be shy but not so shy that she won't use her pipsqueak voice to let you know when she wants your attention. Harper is a mom whose kittens have all been adopted and now enjoys spending her time looking out the window and dreaming of living in your house. You can learn more about this little lady here.

    Hazel

Sorry to the other cats above, but Hazel wins the cute contest this week. This tortie point siamese kitten won't likely last long at the Cats Pawjamas so you should probably hop to it if you'd like to adopt her. According to Cats Pawjamas being a tortie point siamese means that "she has a mix of tortoiseshell patches on her creamy points." In other words, she's adorable!

She's also a sweet cat with a mix of that playful kitten energy that some love and some could do without and a restful, snuggly side, which just about everyone enjoys. Better yet, she's been raised around children, so if you have kids yourself, she's ready for them. You can learn more about Hazel here.

That's it for this week. Want to look at more cats? Check out my profile here. Many of the cats featured on past posts are still available!
