Canoe and kayak paddle trip set for July 27 on Chemung River
A seven-mile canoe and kayak paddle trip from Bottcher’s Landing in Big Flats to the Grove Street boat launch in Elmira is set for Saturday, July 27. The event, led by Endless Mountains Outfitters and Chemung River Friends, will begin at 9 a.m. at the Grove Street Park Boat Launch.
A local non-profit hosts fundraiser in Teal Park to help spay and neuter stray cats
HORSEHEADS, N.Y. (WENY) -- Teal Park in Horseheads was filled with animal lovers hoping to help out the stray cat population in the area.
