Another warm day before storms in Chicago on Thursday

CHICAGO (CBS) — Turning cloudy throughout the afternoon with humidity increasing. A storm complex will form over Iowa tonight and bring shower and thunderstorm activity to our Thursday morning rush.

Once that first round departs, we will see how the atmosphere recovers, possibly allowing storms to build into the evening hours.

Storm Prediction Center has our area at a Level 2 (out of 5) for Thursday.

Scattered storm chances linger on Friday.

Showers into Saturday, with clearing for the second half of the weekend.
