Despite sending the No. 1 overall pick to the Bears, the Panthers still used the NFL Draft to strengthen their offense, selecting wide receiver Xavier Legette at No. 22 overall and Jonathan Brooks in the second round as the first running back off the board. The Panthers made a change in head coach as well, hiring Dave Canales, who elevated the play of Baker Mayfield in Tampa Bay and Geno Smith in Seattle over the last two seasons. Can he do the same for Bryce Young and make him one of the 2024 Fantasy football breakouts to target in the 2024 Fantasy football QB rankings? Last year, Rachaad White was the No. 4 running back in Fantasy football due to his workload in Tampa Bay, so can you expect similar production from Brooks or Chuba Hubbard when forming a 2024 Fantasy football strategy?

With advanced 2024 Fantasy football rankings, you can make informed decisions throughout your drafts and prepare for any major runs at specific positions. If you're looking for 2024 Fantasy football advice, be sure to check out the 2024 Fantasy football cheat sheets from the proven computer model at SportsLine .

Last year, the model accurately predicted that Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle would fail to live up to his Fantasy football ADP. Waddle's 2023 Fantasy football ADP was 34.86 overall and he was the 11th receiver off the board on average. He'd go on to notch a 1,000-yard season but only had 72 receptions with four touchdowns and he'd finish as the No. 34 Fantasy football wide receiver in CBS Sports PPR leagues.

The same model has a proven track record providing Fantasy football tips, identifying A.J. Brown as a sleeper in 2020 and nailing Jonathan Taylor's monstrous season in 2021. Additionally, it's called past Fantasy football sleepers like Derrick Henry in 2019, Christian McCaffrey and Alvin Kamara in 2018, and Davante Adams in 2017. Anybody who banked on players like those made a run at their league title.

The model is powered by the same people who generated projections for all three major Fantasy sites, and it beat human experts last season when there was a big difference in ranking. The 2024 Fantasy football PPR rankings and 2024 Fantasy football standard projections update multiple times daily, so you're always getting the best Fantasy football advice and the latest Fantasy football tiers.

Top 2024 Fantasy football QB rankings

Here's a look at SportsLine's top three 2024 Fantasy football QB picks:

    1. Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles: The Eagles are likely the only team in the NFL to lose a highly recognizable player when an offensive lineman retires and that happened this offseason with Jason Kelce's retirement. He was a huge part of the Eagles' tush push success, which helped Hurts rush for 15 touchdowns. Hurts finished as QB3 in Fantasy football last season and although they lost Kelce, Philadelphia gained Saquon Barkley as a running back who can create yards after the catch. The Eagles still have elite playmakers and Hurts is coming off back-to-back top three Fantasy football seasons.

    2. Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills: Allen also lost a staple of his offense when the Bills traded Stefon Diggs to the Texans this offseason. But even with Diggs having his fewest receiving yards in his four seasons in Buffalo last year, Allen still finished as QB1. Allen rushed for a career-high 15 touchdowns as he's rushed for at least six touchdowns in each of his six NFL seasons. He has one of the biggest arms in the NFL and Buffalo will continue to be pass-heavy without Diggs. Allen has finished as QB1 in Fantasy football in three of his last four seasons.

    3. Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs: A down year for Mahomes is still a great season for nearly anyone not named Patrick Mahomes. The soon-to-be 29-year-old threw for 4,183 yards last season as he's thrown for at least 4,000 yards in each of his six seasons as a starter. Mahomes has led the NFL in touchdown passes in two of the last six seasons and despite finishing as QB8 in Fantasy football last season, there are few players with a higher floor for the 2024 Fantasy football season as the two-time NFL MVP. Top 2024 Fantasy football RB rankings

Here's a look at SportsLine's top three 2024 Fantasy football RB picks:

    1. Christian McCaffrey, San Francisco 49ers: McCaffrey missed 23 games combined in 2020 and 2021 but that all seems like a distant memory. He's coming off his first NFL rushing championship and also led the league in total scrimmage yards (2,023) and total touchdowns (21). He's an ideal fit in the San Francisco offense and a pretty easy choice for top overall pick in 2024 Fantasy football drafts.

    2. Breece Hall, New York Jets: After missing 10 games as a rookie, Hall returned to action in 2023 and rushed for 994 yards and five touchdowns while also adding 76 catches for 591 yards and four touchdowns. His 77 evaded tackles were the most of any NFL running back and now that Aaron Rodgers is back, it should be harder for opposing defenses to gameplan for him.

    3. Saquon Barkley, Philadelphia Eagles: In six years with the Giants, Barkley produced 7,311 scrimmage yards and 47 touchdowns in 74 games. Now he'll play behind a better offensive line and with better talent at all the other skill positions in Philadelphia and the model is predicting that he jumps back into the top three among Fantasy football running backs. Top 2024 Fantasy football WR rankings

Here's a look at SportsLine's top three 2024 Fantasy football WR picks:

    1. CeeDee Lamb, Dallas Cowboys: In addition to leading the NFL in receptions, Lamb finished with 1,749 receiving yards and scored 14 total touchdowns during an All-Pro season. He was targeted 181 times and had at least 13 passes thrown his way seven times during the regular season. He was targeted an additional 17 times in Dallas' playoff loss to Green Bay and he could be in line for 200 targets in 2024.

    2. Tyreek Hill, Miami Dolphins: While Lamb led the NFL in receptions, Hill led the league in receiving yards (1,799) and receiving touchdowns (13). It was his second season in a row with at least 119 receptions and 1,700 yards, and his 33.7% target share and 36.9% target rate from last season should carry over again in 2024.

    3. Amon-Ra St. Brown, Detroit Lions: A fourth-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, St. Brown has far exceeded expectations at every step of his career. He caught 119 passes for 1,515 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2023 despite battling nagging injuries and was targeted on 35.2% of red-zone passing attempts. See more top WRs here .

Top 2024 Fantasy football TE rankings

Here's a look at SportsLine's top three 2024 Fantasy football TE picks:

    1. Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs: Kelce missed a couple of games in 2024 and failed to reach 1,000 yards for the first time since 2015 but he still finished as a top-three Fantasy football tight end for an eighth consecutive season. With the offseason additions of Xavier Worthy and Marquise Brown, opposing defenses should have a harder time keying in on Kelce and that's a big reason why the model puts him back on top of its TE rankings for 2024.

    2. Mark Andrews, Baltimore Ravens: Between 2019 and 2022, Andrews averaged 76 catches for 940 yards and eight touchdowns while making three Pro Bowls. In 2023, he missed seven games but still paced for over 70 catches, 900 yards and 10 touchdowns over 17 games. He's healthy again and there's no reason to expect a falloff in production.

    3. Sam LaPorta, Detroit Lions: A second-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, LaPorta's utilization rates were heavy from the start of his rookie season and he made the most of his opportunities. He was targeted 120 times and caught 86 passes for 889 yards and 10 touchdowns. He'll have a chance to be even better in Year Two of working in Ben Johnson's offense. See more top TEs here .
