2024 Caleb Williams Fantasy football projection

The model has locked in its 2024 Fantasy football prediction for Bears rookie quarterback Caleb Williams. The USC product has arguably the best supporting cast of any quarterback ever drafted first overall, with players like Keenan Allen, DJ Moore, Rome Odunze and D'Andre Swift on the roster. Williams offers some mobility to Chicago's offense, but his rushing numbers dipped in each of his collegiate seasons.

Most of his rushing yards are expected to come from scrambles on busted plays, putting Fantasy pressure on him to perform as a passer. It can be difficult to post huge Fantasy numbers at the quarterback position without a large chunk of rushing touchdowns, and rookie quarterbacks often struggle to meet expectations. The model has also released its projection for Commanders rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels. The No. 2 overall pick rewrote the college football record books in his five years at Arizona State and LSU. He's the only player in FBS history with 12,000 passing and 3,000 rushing yards, set the FBS single-season passer rating record in 2023 and won the Heisman Trophy last year.

He had the luxury of being surrounded by first-round receivers with Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas Jr. at LSU, and prior to that having Brandon Aiyuk and Ricky Pearsall at ASU. Washington is bare at that position outside of Terry McLaurin, and the team adding Austin Ekeler to a backfield that includes Brian Robinson Jr. indicates that the Commanders will attempt to establish the run. Daniels has an offensive coordinator who is familiar with dual-threat quarterbacks, as Kliff Kingsbury previously coached the likes of Caleb Williams, Kyler Murray, and Patrick Mahomes. 2024 Drake Maye Fantasy football projection

The model has also released its ranking for Patriots rookie quarterback Drake Maye. A two-year starter at UNC, Maye led the ACC in passing yards in each of the last two seasons while also showing off his wheels, rushing for over 1,200 yards and 16 touchdowns. However, his numbers took a step back across the board in 2023 after losing two receivers to the NFL Draft. That's important to know as Maye joins a Patriots team that is lacking talent offensively as New England ranked in the bottom five in passing yards, total yards and points scored last season.

Unlike the two players drafted ahead of him in Williams and Daniels, Maye hasn't been anointed New England's starting QB yet. Veteran Jacoby Brissett is in pole position to start the season, which would undoubtedly limit Maye's Fantasy impact over a full year.
