Identifying 2024 Fantasy football breakouts is not always easy, but choosing the right ones can give you an edge in your Fantasy football 2024 leagues. Wide receiver Puka Nacua and tight end Sam LaPorta were both breakouts last season, joining quarterback CJ Stroud and running back Jahmyr Gibbs. However, 2024 Fantasy football rookies can also turn into Fantasy football busts, with Marvin Mims Jr. being an example from last season. He finished with just 377 receiving yards for the Broncos in 2023, despite being targeted in almost every game.

Rookie quarterbacks Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels and Drake Maye are each hoping to become 2024 Fantasy football breakouts, but there is a chance one of them struggles to match their 2024 Fantasy football ADP as a rookie. Where do they slot into the 2024 Fantasy football rankings? If you're looking for 2024 Fantasy football advice, be sure to check out the 2024 Fantasy football cheat sheets from the proven computer model at SportsLine .

Last year, the model accurately predicted that Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs would carry significantly more value than expected during his rookie season. The result: Gibbs rushed for 945 yards and 10 touchdowns while also catching 52 passes for 316 yards and a score. Gibbs was coming off the board in the middle of the fourth round on average but finished as a top-10 running back in CBS Sports PPR leagues.

The same model has a proven track record providing Fantasy football tips, identifying A.J. Brown as a sleeper in 2020 and nailing Jonathan Taylor's monstrous season in 2021. Additionally, it's called past Fantasy football sleepers like Derrick Henry in 2019, Christian McCaffrey and Alvin Kamara in 2018, and Davante Adams in 2017. Anybody who banked on players like those made a run at their league title.

The model is powered by the same people who generated projections for all three major Fantasy sites, and it beat human experts last season when there was a big difference in ranking. The projections update multiple times daily, so you're always getting the best Fantasy football advice.

Now, SportsLine has simulated the entire NFL season 10,000 times and released its latest Fantasy football cheat sheets 2024 and draft advice, along with its top rookie Fantasy QB picks. Head to SportsLine now to see them .

2024 Caleb Williams Fantasy football projection

The model has locked in its 2024 Fantasy football prediction for Bears rookie quarterback Caleb Williams. The USC product has arguably the best supporting cast of any quarterback ever drafted first overall, with players like Keenan Allen, DJ Moore, Rome Odunze and D'Andre Swift on the roster. Williams offers some mobility to Chicago's offense, but his rushing numbers dipped in each of his collegiate seasons.

Most of his rushing yards are expected to come from scrambles on busted plays, putting Fantasy pressure on him to perform as a passer. It can be difficult to post huge Fantasy numbers at the quarterback position without a large chunk of rushing touchdowns, and rookie quarterbacks often struggle to meet expectations. However, the weapons surrounding Williams certainly make him worth considering in Fantasy football drafts. See the full Fantasy football QB rankings here.

2024 Jayden Daniels Fantasy football projection

The model has also released its projection for Commanders rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels. The former LSU star became the only player in FBS history to pass for 12,000 yards and rush for 3,000 yards in a college career. Daniels immediately becomes one of the most dangerous running quarterbacks in the NFL with his ability to extend plays and rattle off big runs.

He has all the tools to thrive in a Kliff Kingsbury offense, and he fits well with wide receivers Terry McLaurin and Jahan Dotson . Veteran tight end Zach Ertz joins running backs Brian Robinson Jr . and Austin Ekeler as solid check-down options for Daniels. The Commanders allowed the second-most sacks in the NFL last season (65), so Daniels might have to make things happen with his legs more than he would like. See where every quarterback lands in the rankings here .

2024 Drake Maye Fantasy football projection

The model has also released its ranking for Patriots rookie quarterback Drake Maye. The 21-year-old finished his college career with 62 passing touchdowns and 16 interceptions at North Carolina, which led to New England selecting him with the third pick in the draft. Maye also led the Tar Heels in rushing yards during his sophomore season (2022), and he averaged nearly 56 rushing yards per game across his two years as the starter.

Unlike Caleb Williams and Jayden Daniels, Maye is not a lock to be New England's starter this season. He is competing with veteran Jacoby Brissett for the starting job, while Bailey Zappe and Joe Milton III are also options on the depth chart. Maye's competition for the starting position certainly plays a role in where he sits in the model's Fantasy football quarterback rankings. See full Fantasy football QB tiers here .
