Doing your homework is a vital part of forming a 2024 Fantasy football draft strategy. You want to be up to date on the latest NFL depth charts, camp competitions, and trades. No matter how much research you put into your 2024 Fantasy football rankings, you can't control 2024 Fantasy football injuries. Should you handcuff your RB1 with the team's backup in the event of injury? In some situations, that could be a beneficial 2024 Fantasy football strategy, but if the backup is likely to be in a committee, it may be unnecessary. A strong set of Fantasy football rankings 2024 will help you know which backups are worth stashing and who to avoid. As you begin your 2024 Fantasy football draft prep, be sure to check out the 2024 Fantasy football cheat sheets from the proven computer model at SportsLine .

Last year, the model accurately predicted that Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle would fail to live up to his Fantasy football ADP. Waddle's 2023 Fantasy football ADP was 34.86 overall and he was the 11th receiver off the board on average. He'd go on to notch a 1,000-yard season but only had 72 receptions with four touchdowns and he'd finish as the No. 34 Fantasy football wide receiver in CBS Sports PPR leagues.

The same model has a proven track record providing Fantasy football tips, identifying A.J. Brown as a sleeper in 2020 and nailing Jonathan Taylor's monstrous season in 2021. Additionally, it's called past Fantasy football sleepers like Derrick Henry in 2019, Christian McCaffrey and Alvin Kamara in 2018, and Davante Adams in 2017. Anybody who banked on players like those made a run at their league title.

The model is powered by the same people who generated projections for all three major Fantasy sites, and it beat human experts last season when there was a big difference in ranking. The 2024 Fantasy football PPR rankings and 2024 Fantasy football standard projections update multiple times daily, so you're always getting the best Fantasy football advice.

Now, SportsLine has simulated the entire NFL season 10,000 times and released its latest Fantasy football rankings 2024, along with plenty of sleepers, breakouts and busts. Head to SportsLine now to see them .

    Top 2024 Fantasy football busts

One of the 2024 Fantasy football busts the model is predicting: Saints running back Kendre Miller. He only played eight games his rookie season after suffering a season-ending ankle injury in Week 9. After injuring his hamstring on the first day of training camp, his prospects of staying healthy this year don't look much better. It's never a good sign when your head coach says following your injury, "That's a player that's going to have to figure out how to stay healthy because it's hard to make the team, you know, when you're in the training room all the time."

The Saints have a crowded and experienced running back room, including Alvin Kamara and Jamaal Williams, so New Orleans may not have much patience with Miller if he can't stay healthy. Early reports indicate New Orleans will continue to find ways to utilize the versatile Tayson Hill in the offense, which also takes away from Miller's opportunities. With all this competition for touches and his injury history, the model projects Miller as one of the Fantasy football busts 2024.

Another bust that SportsLine's Fantasy football rankings 2024 have identified: Vikings running back Aaron Jones. Due to hamstring and knee injuries, Jones missed six games last year, leading to his worst numbers since his rookie year in 2017. Jones had 889 total yards and three touchdowns after averaging 1,431 yards and 12 TDs over the previous four seasons. Green Bay released him in the offseason, and Jones signed with the division rival Vikings.

However, Jones is downgrading in terms of offensive lines. The Vikings have ranked among the bottom eight NFL teams in both rushing yards and yards per carry in each of the last two seasons, despite having Dalvin Cook for one of those. Additionally, not only is Jones coming off an injury-plagued season, but his 4.6 yards per carry in 2023 matched a career-low and he will turn 30 years old this season. There are just too many red flags with Jones as the model has him outside its top 20 running backs in its 2024 Fantasy football rankings. See which other Fantasy football busts 2024 to avoid here .
