There was already a deep pool of quarterbacks in the 2024 Fantasy football rankings to choose from, and it became even deeper following the NFL Draft. The first three players off the board were quarterbacks, so there are multiple potential 2024 Fantasy football breakout players at that position. Texans quarterback C.J. It took time for Moss to become a relevant Fantasy football running back, but he made the most of his opportunity when Colts running back Jonathan Taylor got hurt. Moss averaged 14.0 Fantasy points per game in six games with Taylor out, and now he finds himself as the starter in an even better offense.
Joe Mixon averaged 4.0 yards per carry and commanded a 10.8% target share in the passing game in Cincinnati's offense last season. Quarterback Joe Burrow suffered a season-ending injury, so the Bengals should be even better offensively this year. The model has Moss ranked ahead of running backs Raheem Mostert, Brian Robinson Jr. and Tony Pollard, who are all being selected before him in most Fantasy drafts. Top 2024 Fantasy football breakouts
One of the 2024 Fantasy football breakouts the model is predicting: Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. The rookie is one of the most polished prospects in recent memory, catching 14 touchdowns in each of his final two seasons at Ohio State. He averaged a whopping 18.1 yards per catch on 67 receptions last year, so he gives quarterback Kyler Murray an elite downfield target.
Cardinals running back James Conner is coming off his first 1,000-yard season as a rusher, providing the offense with some balance. Harrison will immediately command a huge target share in Arizona's scheme, which is rarely the case for rookies. Top 2024 Fantasy football busts
As for players to avoid, the model lists 49ers tight end George Kittle as one of its 2024 Fantasy football busts. Kittle had 65 receptions for 1,020 yards and six touchdowns last season, finishing as the TE5 in Fantasy. He is playing in a crowded San Francisco offense though, with Christian McCaffrey, Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk all taking targets away from Kittle.
He led all tight ends in receiving yards last year, but his Fantasy ceiling was capped by the competition provided by his teammates. Kittle needs to maintain a high level of efficiency to match his Fantasy ADP, and that is not something his Fantasy owners will want to rely on.
