We're in the thick of Fantasy football draft prep 2024 and the deeper we get into the preseason, the more Fantasy-relevant players are battling injury issues. Chiefs wide receiver Marquise Brown (shoulder) and Steelers running back Jaylen Warren (hamstring) could both miss a portion of the regular season. Their absences could provide at least a temporary boost for others, with Chiefs rookie receiver Xavier Worthy and Warren's primary competition in the Pittsburgh backfield, Najee Harris, moving up the 2024 Fantasy football WR rankings and 2024 Fantasy football RB rankings.

How far should you move them up your 2024 Fantasy football draft rankings and who are the 2024 Fantasy football busts you need to watch out for? A reliable set of live-updated 2024 Fantasy football rankings can help ensure you're adjusting to the latest NFL news in real-time. As you begin your 2024 Fantasy football draft prep, be sure to check out the 2024 Fantasy football cheat sheets from the proven computer model at SportsLine .

Last year, the model accurately predicted that Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle would fail to live up to his Fantasy football ADP. Waddle's 2023 Fantasy football ADP was 34.86 overall and he was the 11th receiver off the board on average. He'd go on to notch a 1,000-yard season but only had 72 receptions with four touchdowns and he'd finish as the No. 34 Fantasy football wide receiver in CBS Sports PPR leagues.

The same model has a proven track record providing Fantasy football tips, identifying A.J. Brown as a sleeper in 2020 and nailing Jonathan Taylor's monstrous season in 2021. Additionally, it's called past Fantasy football sleepers like Derrick Henry in 2019, Christian McCaffrey and Alvin Kamara in 2018, and Davante Adams in 2017. Anybody who banked on players like those made a run at their league title.

The model is powered by the same people who generated projections for all three major Fantasy sites, and it beat human experts last season when there was a big difference in ranking. The 2024 Fantasy football PPR rankings and 2024 Fantasy football standard projections update multiple times daily, so you're always getting the best Fantasy football advice.

    Top 2024 Fantasy football busts

One of the 2024 Fantasy football busts the model is predicting: 49ers tight end George Kittle. The former fifth-round pick out of Iowa is coming off his fifth Pro Bowl selection and made first-team All-Pro for the second time in his career after catching 65 passes for 1,020 yards and seven touchdowns. However, he'll be 31 in October and his utilization was down considerably late in the season.

Kittle was targeted five times or fewer in five of San Francisco's final seven games and as long as Brandon Aiyuk remains on the roster, he's likely to be the third or even fourth option in the passing attack. Kittle is the sixth tight end off the board on average in 2024 Fantasy football drafts but the model predicts behind Evan Engram and David Njoku, who are available at least two rounds later on average.

Another bust that SportsLine's Fantasy football rankings 2024 have identified: Commanders receiver Terry McLaurin. Last year, McLaurin had the worst Fantasy season of his five-year career. You could say some of the blame could go to Washington's QB situation, the Commanders have had QB struggles during McLaurin's entire career. McLaurin's career-worst season actually came on a Washington team which led the NFL in pass attempts last season, and the Commanders are unlikely to have that type of passing volume under rookie QB Jayden Daniels.

In addition to a rookie QB, the team also has a new playcaller in OC Kliff Kingsbury. During his four years as Arizona's head coach, only once -- DeAndre Hopkins in 2020 -- did a Cardinals wideout rank in the top 28 in positional Fantasy points. McLaurin's skills haven't diminished, but his opportunities are likely to in 2024, whether due to game plan or expected game flow. The model favors someone like Chris Godwin ahead of McLaurin, despite McLaurin having an earlier 2024 Fantasy football ADP. See which other Fantasy football busts 2024 to avoid here .

How to find proven 2024 Fantasy football rankings

SportsLine is also low on a wide receiver who is being drafted as a top-15 player at his position. The model ranks him outside its top 20 wide receivers for 2024 and expects him to see major regression. You can only see who it is, and the 2024 Fantasy football rankings for every player, at SportsLine .
