Selecting 2024 Fantasy football handcuffs late in drafts can help protect against losing an early-round pick. That 2024 Fantasy football strategy might be necessary with backs like Christian McCaffrey, Jahmyr Gibbs and Jonathon Brooks, who are already battling 2024 Fantasy football injuries this preseason. How can you effectively use handcuffing to protect your 2024 Fantasy football picks and which backs should you avoid altogether? With a reliable set of 2024 Fantasy football rankings, you can build depth at running back and any other position. Fantasy football rankings 2024 can also help you sort each position group into 2024 Fantasy football tiers so you can prepare for runs during your upcoming drafts.

Who are the top players to target in the 2024 Fantasy football QB rankings, 2024 Fantasy football RB rankings, 2024 Fantasy football WR rankings, and 2024 Fantasy football TE rankings? If you're looking for 2024 Fantasy football advice, be sure to check out the 2024 Fantasy football cheat sheets from the proven computer model at SportsLine .

Last year, the model accurately predicted that Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle would fail to live up to his Fantasy football ADP. Waddle's 2023 Fantasy football ADP was 34.86 overall and he was the 11th receiver off the board on average. He'd go on to notch a 1,000-yard season but only had 72 receptions with four touchdowns and he'd finish as the No. 34 Fantasy football wide receiver in CBS Sports PPR leagues.

The same model has a proven track record providing Fantasy football tips, identifying A.J. Brown as a sleeper in 2020 and nailing Jonathan Taylor's monstrous season in 2021. Additionally, it's called past Fantasy football sleepers like Derrick Henry in 2019, Christian McCaffrey and Alvin Kamara in 2018, and Davante Adams in 2017. Anybody who banked on players like those made a run at their league title.

The model is powered by the same people who generated projections for all three major Fantasy sites, and it beat human experts last season when there was a big difference in ranking. The 2024 Fantasy football PPR rankings and 2024 Fantasy football standard projections update multiple times daily, so you're always getting the best Fantasy football advice and the latest Fantasy football tiers.

Top 2024 Fantasy football QB rankings

Here's a look at SportsLine's top three 2024 Fantasy football QB picks:

    1. Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills: With the departures of Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis, it seems as the Bills' brass is putting even more on the shoulders of Allen. That could lead to his most productive season ever as he tries to win games with both his arm and legs for the Bills this year.

    2. Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles: Whenever you basically average a rushing TD per game (27 TDs in last 28 games), then you have a very high Fantasy floor. Then, with Philly's additions at RB, WR and offensive coordinator, Hurts should be able to reach his Fantasy ceiling -- a top-three Fantasy QB -- which is what he's finished as each of the last two years.

    3. Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens: Despite 821 yards and five TDs on the ground last year, Jackson says he dropped 15 pounds to be even more elusive as a runner. That's a positive sign, as is the development of young pass catchers on Baltimore like Zay Flowers and Isaiah Likely, who helped Jackson post the highest completion percentage of his career last season. Top 2024 Fantasy football RB rankings

Here's a look at SportsLine's top three 2024 Fantasy football RB picks:

    1. Christian McCaffrey, San Francisco 49ers: He's battled a calf injury this preseason but there aren't any concerns about his availability for Week 1. Since joining the 49ers, McCaffrey has 3,233 scrimmage yards and 31 touchdowns in 27 games and that level of productivity is exactly why he's a consensus No. 1 overall pick in PPR drafts.

    2. Breece Hall, New York Jets: Hall tore his ACL in the middle of his rookie season and was on a pitch count as he continued to recover early in the season. However, that didn't stop him from piling up 1,585 scrimmage yards and nine touchdowns on the season. He was New York's best offensive weapon in 2023 and he should be even more dynamic in 2024 now that Aaron Rodgers is back to keep defenses honest.

    3. Saquon Barkley, Philadelphia Eagles: Barkley missed three games and played in a generally abysmal offense but still managed 1,242 scrimmage yards and 10 touchdowns in 2023. Now he joins an Eagles offense that is much more balanced and the model is predicting that will elevate Barkley's production in 2024. See more top RBs here .

Top 2024 Fantasy football WR rankings

Here's a look at SportsLine's top three 2024 Fantasy football WR picks:

    1. CeeDee Lamb, Dallas Cowboys: A four-year, $136 million extension ended Lamb's holdout and now the former first-round pick can get back to dominating opposing defenses. Lamb's numbers have improved in each of his four years in the NFL, but even if he can't improve on the 135 catches for 1,749 yards and 12 touchdowns he had in 2023, he's still worth consideration near the top of your 2024 Fantasy football drafts.

    2. Tyreek Hill, Miami Dolphins: Hill transitioned from Patrick Mahomes to Tua Tagovailoa in 2022 and most forecasted his production would suffer. Instead, he's caught 238 passes for 3,509 yards with 20 touchdowns in his two seasons in Miami. There's no reason to think that will change in 2024 and he remains one of the safest first-round options this draft season.

    3. Amon-Ra St. Brown, Detroit Lions: A fourth-round pick in 2021, St. Brown quickly worked his way up the depth chart as a rookie and then earned Pro Bowl honors in 2022. He followed that up by catching 119 passes for 1,515 yards and 10 touchdowns to earn first-team All-Pro honors in 2023 despite battling multiple nagging injuries. He's healthy entering 2024 and it's possible he's just scraping the surface of his potential. See more top WRs here .

Top 2024 Fantasy football TE rankings

Here's a look at SportsLine's top three 2024 Fantasy football TE picks:

    1. Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs: With more receiving threats in Kansas City with the additions of Marquise Brown, Xavier Worthy and JuJu Smith-Schuster, Kelce benefits from that as well. Their presences mean he'll face fewer double teams which, in part, led to the slight dip in his numbers last season.

    2. Mark Andrews, Baltimore Ravens: Over his last 17 regular-season games, Andrews has a stat line of 76-903-6. He's as consistent a tight end as there is in the league, and prior to an injury limiting him to 10 games in 2023, he ranked amongst the top five TEs in Fantasy points in each of the previous four seasons.

    3. Sam LaPorta, Detroit Lions: The second-round pick set an NFL rookie record for catches by a tight end with 86 last year. However, his potential is even higher in 2024, potentially in regards to his touchdowns, as LaPorta didn't become a redzone option until midseason. He had just three redzone targets and one TD through the first seven games before having 12 redzone targets and seven TDs over the last 10 games. See more top TEs here .
