Tome’s baseball program finished the season with a record of 12-2, alongside an MIL title in a 6-2 win over the Fellowship of Christian Athletes on Tuesday.

After allowing a run in the bottom of the first, the Titans used a four-run third inning to take a 4-1 advantage over FCA. Jack Widdoes kickstarted the rally with an RBI single. Following an FCA error that gave Tome a 2-1 advantage, Matt Woods used a two-run single to extend the Titans’ lead to three.

Widdoes went 2-for-4 at the plate.

Tome plated its fifth run in the top of the sixth on a groundout from Jeb Williams. An ensuing single by Finn Hartnett put the Titans up five.

On the mound, pitcher Nolan Peel went six complete innings, allowing two hits and striking out 15 FCA hitters. Widdoes closed the game out with three straight outs. Widdoes recorded two strikeouts in relief duty.
