Lima's C2K Striders heading to North Carolina to compete in AAU Junior Olympics
LIMA, OH (WLIO) - As the country waits for the Summer Olympics to begin, some Lima athletes are gearing up to compete in their own Olympics. Lima's C2K Striders once again have athletes who qualified to compete in the AAU Junior Olympics in Greensboro, North Carolina. This will be the Amateur Athletic Union's 58th competition. These young athletes are no strangers to track and field, as shown by the hardware around their necks. They work long and hard to get good at what they do and are looking forward to this weekend of competition.

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Greensboro Grasshoppers dropped to the Asheville Tourists on Wednesday, July 24. The Tourists improved to 10-15 on the second half of the season while the Grasshoppers fell to 17-9 as Asheville outhit Greensboro 5-4.
