NORTH CALDWELL, NJ -- Essex County will be installing a traffic light at the intersection of Mountain Avenue, Gould Avenue and Knollwood Drive this week. Construction for the installation of the new traffic light is underway. The statement reads: Statement from Mayor Kelly and the Board of Commissioners Political disagreements should never devolve into violence. The Board of Commissioners unequivocally condemn the attempt on former President Trump's life and any other political violence. All political parties in this nation all have the same goal: to make this already great nation even greater. They simply disagree on how to accomplish that goal. A person who holds a differing viewpoint than yours is not your enemy. The real enemies of America are those who wish us physical harm and seek to cause America's downfall. A differing political viewpoint is not a personal attack, but an opportunity for an open and honest dialog and conversation.
