None of them gave any details as to what happened inside.Matteson police said the scene was processed by detectives who continue to investigate the matter as an isolated incident. Police said there is no immediate threat to homes or businesses in the area.This isn't the first-time police have responded to this amazon fulfillment center. MFPD Responds to Peotone Structural Fire – No Injuries
At approximately 4:22 p.m. on July 10, the Manhattan Fire Protection District (MFPD) was dispatched to a reported structural fire in the 200 block of West Street in Peotone. The first units arrived on scene within three minutes of the initial call for service. Fire crews reported moderate smoke and flames showing from a two-story residential structure. A full still was activated for additional personnel and equipment.
