Austin police investigating double homicide on South Pleasant Valley Road
AUSTIN, Texas — Austin Police Department (APD) officers are investigating a double homicide following a shooting on South Pleasant Valley Road late Wednesday night. On June 26, 2024, at approximately 11:31 p.m., APD officers responded to reports of gunfire and screaming at 2317 South Pleasant Valley Road. Upon arrival, officers discovered three victims suffering from gunshot wounds. One victim, an approximately 39-year-old Hispanic male, was pronounced dead at the scene. The other two victims were transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. The second victim, an approximately 30-year-old Hispanic male, later died at the hospital. The third victim remains in stable condition.
