Teen Missing Seven Weeks Form Cedar Springs Found Safe
(Rockford, MI) – A 17-year-old Cedar Springs girl who had been missing over seven weeks has been found safe in Rockford. Penny Wise left home on foot May 31st and was seen on surveillance video on Rockford Park Drive near Northland Drive around 6 p.m. She was also seen on surveillance video walking past the Corner Bar in Rockford the next day.

The search is on for 55-year-old Stephen (Steve) Philip Foster, a convicted felon whom Michigan State Police have described as wanted on multiple felony warrants. These warrants include charges related to possession and distribution of child sexual abusive material, failure to register as a sex offender, illegal firearms possession, and operating a drug house. According to ClickOnDetroit, Foster was previously convicted of second-degree criminal sexual contact with a person under 13.

Benton Harbor man sentenced to 15 years for kidnapping store manager, stealing over 100 handguns
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — One of the men who stole over 100 handguns from a Dunham's Sports store after kidnapping the manager was sentenced Monday. Dontrell Nance, 25, of Benton Harbor, will spend 15 years in prison for kidnapping and brandishing a firearm. He pleaded guilty to the charges in April.
