    Mrs. Susan Jennell Miller Mason

    Mrs. Susan Jennell Miller Mason , age 79, passed away Monday, July 15, 2024.

    Mrs. Mason was born September 5, 1944, in Cedartown, Georgia, daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin Miller and Mattie Mae Taylor Miller.

    Mrs. Mason was of the Christian faith and was a dedicated member of Victory Baptist Church. She loved to shop and enjoyed time spent with her family most of all.

    In addition to her parents, Mrs. Mason was preceded in death by her loving husband, Mr. Samuel “Sam” Mason; an infant brother; and sisters: Bertha Mae Boiling and Norma Jean Koone.

    Mrs. Mason is survived by her sons: Larry Bedford and his wife, Debbie, and Paul Mason and his wife Barbara Jean, all of Cedartown; sister, Jo Trammell; and sixteen dearly loved grandchildren.

    Funeral services to celebrate her life will be held Monday, July 22, 2024, at two o’clock in the afternoon, at Victory Baptist Church, with Reverend Barry Snapp officiating. Mrs. Mason will lie in state at the church from one o’clock in the afternoon until the service hour. Interment will follow in Greenwood cemetery.

    Mrs. Mason’s family will receive friends Sunday, July 21, 2024 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, at the Smith & Miller Funeral Home.

    The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Anthony Smith, Doug Stell, Mike Key, Vince Altimari, and Johnathan Bedford.

    The Smith & Miller Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Susan Jennell Miller Mason.
