TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) - A new set of rules is now governing Toledo Police chases. The department updated its policy after a string of chases killed and injured multiple people. One of the big changes is that when a supervisor decides to end a chase, all the vehicles involved are now required to turn off their lights and sirens. They are also asked to pull over as soon as possible to let the person they are chasing know the pursuit is off.
