    Small plane makes emergency landing at Centennial Airport after engine failure

    DENVER (KDVR) — A twin prop engine airplane made an emergency landing at Centennial Airport shortly after takeoff after encountering an engine failure, according to South Metro Fire Rescue.

    The incident happened Saturday morning. The aircraft reported an engine failure right after departing the airport and returned for an emergency landing.

    The plane landed off of one of the runways.

    There was no fire on the plane when crews responded.

    Two people were onboard the plane and one was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
