A pen of 30 chicks is $30. Show rules and paperwork may be picked-up at the Extension office at 266 Nacogdoches St. (Old Elementary School Library Bldg.). Orders are payable by check or money order only. The date for pick-up of show chickens will be announced at a later time. One dollar donations were accepted to enter the drawing with all proceeds going to the Shelby County Outreach Ministries to help people in the community.The drawing was held Monday, July 3. Presenting the bicycle to Boykins was Billy Dickinson at H&S Discount Foods.

The Lady Dragons put up an 8-4 record in District before being defeated by Como-Pickton in the state quarterfinal round.
