• Wellness Wednesday The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Lunch and Learns have a new name, Wellness Wednesdays. This month’s will feature tudents from Center High School’s Culinary Department making healthy snack options, and The Forge owner, Danbert Collum talking about the importance of fitness and healthy meal prepping. MARCH 8 Friday Wright Motors Open House Wright Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram will celebrate 20 years in business with an open house from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the dealership located at 1858 Tenaha Street. The Shelby County Cookers will be cooking hamburgers.

• Mathews Realty Open House Hours will be held 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Mathews Realty located at 616 Tenaha Street. Join the staff at Mathews Realty for refreshments and fellowship. They look forward to seeing you.

• Center PD blood drive The Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center will be at the Center Police Department from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The demand for blood in hospitals is very high. Show you care, give to this cause. One donation can help save three lives. • Shelby County Grill Fest Shelby County’s Lone Star Barbecue Society sanctioned barbecue cook-off at the Shelby County Expo Center/ Rodeo Arena. $6,500 in prize money. Registration deadline March 1 for $150 entry fee. After that date, $200 until the day of the event.

MARCH 16 Saturday
