Titans drop a pair of games to begin the Onset Invitational
FORT WAYNE, Ind.- The Indiana University South Bend Titans (0-4, 0-0 CCAC) dropped a pair of matches to begin the Onset Invitational, falling in game one to Mount Vernon Nazarene University (4-0) by scores of 20-25, 8-25, and 13-25 before losing in match two of the day to Marian University (3-1) by scores of 12-25, 13-25, and 20-25. IU South Bend fell in straight sets in match one despite eight kills from Taylor Hostetler and six kills from Madison Figg. Sophomore Brynn Lake again led the passing game, tallying 17 assists in just three sets of action. Match one saw the Titans out dig Mount Vernon Nazarene 43-42, led by defensive specialist Sydney Hanna who finished with a team high 14 digs.
