CENTERVILLE, Ohio ( WDTN ) — Crews will be out working to repair sections of Centerville roads during the first week of July.

Starting Sunday, June 30, construction workers will begin making pavement and catch basin repairs in the area of E. Franklin Street and Cemetery Drive. Those driving through the area may experience delays.

Why are there so many chairs along Centerville streets before July 4?

One lane of traffic will be open in each direction on Sunday and Tuesday. On Monday, flaggers will control the traffic flow throughout the day.

The City of Centerville announced the repairs in a post to social media .

“Monday will be the biggest headache. Please be patient!” the post reads.

On Monday and Tuesday, July 1-2, crews will also be in the area near 30 Compark Road. A construction zone will be set up, but half of the road will remain open. These repairs will be to a large area of pavement damaged from the water main break.

Repairs are expected to be completed by Tuesday evening.
