Police responded to burglary calls at two Los Angeles County pharmacies located six miles apart during the early morning hours Tuesday.

The first incident was reported around 1:30 a.m. in the 16900 block of Bellflower Boulevard in Bellflower.

Deputies arrived at the pharmacy to find that the suspects had already fled, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said.

A passerby told the deputies they saw three to five suspects break into the pharmacy.

It was not known what was taken in the burglary.

No descriptions of the suspects were provided but they were believed to have fled in a white sedan, the spokesperson said.

The second burglary call came in just before 2:30 a.m. in the 13300 block of Artesia Boulevard in Cerritos.

Video from the scene showed the front door to the pharmacy had been shattered.

The glass was seen in front of the business and the security gate was pushed open.

There was no word on what, if anything was taken.

Authorities have not determined whether the two incidents were connected.
