Nebraska Volleyball’s Harper Murray Sentenced for DUI
Nebraska's Harper Murray was sentenced Monday for a driving under the influence charge from an April incident in Lincoln. The rising sophomore will spend nine months on probation and was also sentenced to a $500 fine. Her driver's license has also been revoked for 60 days, and will later have an ignition interlock device. 15-year-old missing Alliance teen found safe
ALLIANCE -- The Alliance Police today reported a 15-year-old girl missing. Araseli Figueroa is described as a 15-year-old Hispanic girl 5 feet tall and weighing 110 lbs. She was last seen westbound on East Third Street from the 1300 block of East Third at 7:15 p.m. Monday, July 22. She has brown hair, brown/black hair and pierced ears.

Before the Broncos: Bailey (6-6, 323 pounds) spent five years at Arizona State, emerging as a full-time starter in his third season. Bailey started 34 games during his time with the Sun Devils, playing primarily as a right tackle. He also spent time at guard. Motorcyclist Dies In Loveland Crash
A crash at Taft Avenue and First Street in Loveland Tuesday left a motorcycle driver dead. According to the Loveland Reporter Herald, the man was traveling north on Taft when the sedan hit him as its driver attempted to turn left from southbound Taft onto First Street, despite the motorcyclist having the right-of-way. Police say the driver of the sedan fled the scene after hitting the motorcycle, which burst into flames. Officers responded to the crash site and were able to put out the flames with fire extinguishers in minutes. The motorcycle driver, who was not wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Nebraska Appeals Court upholds sentencing in domestic assault case
Custer County, Neb. — The Nebraska Court of Appeals has upheld the sentencing and conviction of a Sargent man charged with domestic assault. Court records said in November 2021, Justin Spencer, 39, was charged with third-degree domestic assault with a prior conviction and habitual criminal. The charges stemmed from a September 2021 incident where Spencer’s wife reported she was assaulted by Spencer, causing injuries.
