    Gentle Hunt talks Illinois decision, preseason training

    (WCIA) — Transfer defensive lineman Gentle Hunt is ready for the challenge of playing in a Big Ten defense in his final season of college football.

    “Seeing the room they had last year, sending three guys to the NFL off the same exact coach and the same coach is still here so it’s like why not be in the same part of those elite guys and follow in their footsteps, said Hunt. “These guys are extremely positive. Not a lot of negative stuff you know what I mean especially being around an elite group of guys like this, seeing them every day come in here ready to work. I’m happy for it and I’m ready to see what the future holds.”

    Hunt was an All-SWAC Second Team selection during his junior campaign at Florida A&M. He played 12 games and had 32 tackles and 5.5 sacks.
