New principal starts at Escanaba Jr/Sr High School
ESCANABA, Mich. (WLUC) - Students attending Escanaba Jr/Sr High School will have a new principal when they start school on Wednesday. Andy Doutree is new to the Escanaba school system but not the area. Most recently, Doutree worked for 14 years as an educator at Gladstone Junior High. He taught science to 6th graders and eight years ago, also took on the job of Student Services Director.

1 person injured in single-vehicle rollover in Marquette
MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) - Marquette City Police are investigating a single-vehicle rollover in north Marquette Monday night. Around 11:10 p.m. police responded to the scene on Presque Isle Avenue near Reynolds Athletic Field Complex. Officers at the scene told TV6 that the vehicle’s driver crashed into a parked car and flipped over.
Jackson Civil War Muster returns for largest living history event in Michigan
LANSING, Mich. (WILX) -It’s billed as the largest living history event in the state and the longest-running Civil War event in the Midwest. Last weekend, the Jackson Civil War Muster returned for its 37th year.
